Downtown Prospect Heights houses 15 different area specialty and convenient shops. Area regional malls include: One Schaumburg Place, Randhurst Shopping Center in Mount Prospect and Woodfield Mall in Schaumburg. All three boast a wide variety of stores.

The Prospect Heights Park District offers a wide range of year-round activities for all ages. Prospect Heights boasts a number of strong civic and social groups which all contribute to the community.
